I didn't think he would have to remove each battery and charge them separately with a battery charger? Can't he just leave them in and charge one at a time?

How did the batteries charge, especially the one that was at 11.xx volts. Did you drive test the batteries as suggested by Saltlife and if so what were the results. You did a lot of good work but to post only "she is charging doesn't help many other people.
I searched this site for the same issues I was having. All signs pointed to the rectifier and most reommended replacing the circuit breaker as well since it had popped and could be weak.

I haven't checked the batteries individually. 3 appear to be original and one is newer (still not brand new). I am due to replace the batteries and am planning on doing that in the Spring.

As it stands right now, the cart took the kids and I on a 3+ mile tour of the neighborhood the other day. I was happy with that.

My thoughts too. Just disconnect them and charge them where they sit. I didn't have to do this as the parts for my charger came in quickly and I had it repaired and charging.

As far as I know, you don't even need to disconnect them to charge them individually.

If I may ask, did you have to disassemble the charger to install a new rectifier and circuit breaker? What do these components look like inside the charger? Thanks.

There is a stickey at the top of this CC forum that has the Powerdrive charger book. Download it and print it.

As Colby stated, go to the Powerdrive charger sticky and download the manual.

I used this site for parts and diagram. #15 is the rectifier and #21 is the circuit breaker.

Note - the below link is for the Powerdrive 2 charger.

It was very simple to swap the rectifier and circuit breaker. Just be sure to connect the wires back exactly as they came off.
