Battery question
Anybody ever run a rechargable battery like one thats used in a exit sign. I'm trying to find a battery for my 36v '91 DS. I think I saw somewhere where you could run one of these. I'm looking at a 12v 2ah sealed battery. I've heard that you could pick up interferance from the motor when wired to the cart battery. Would a seperate battery eliminate this noise? Thanks for any help here.

Re: Battery question
a separate battery could eliminate noise depending on the source of the noise. 2Ah isn't very much though... you want a SLA more like wheelchair sized. 35Ah or so.

Re: Battery question
I went with a 35amp scooter battery for both my stereo and lights and so far it seems to work just fine. Oddly enough I notice no interference in the form of static but the volumn level does lower unit the cart reaches full speed so there is indeed still some interferrence. Nothing bad though and it doesn't really bother me.
