How to slow a hot-rodded cart down?
I've been thinking about speeding up my cart, but one of the concerns that I have is, my sons drive this pretty regularly. I don't want them careening around the lawn at 25 mph!
So I had this idea. What if I installed a push-on/push-off type switch, or even a key switch, across the green and white wires at the "Half Speed Limit Switch"? Wouldn't this knock the cart into half speed at all times, instead of just when it's in reverse? Then, when I want to drive, press the button or insert the key, and presto! Back to full speed! Any thoughts? Would this work? Would it work with the popular controllers used to speed up these carts? Michael |
