Cool 2008 electric club car quit working

My club car was working fine until a week ago. I left it for 4 days with a low charge. Then when I charged the batteries, the lights & other accessories worked but the motor is dead. The reverse buzzer does not come on either.
Any ideas?

I'll try that. If it runs when jumped would that mean I need to replace the solenoid?

O.K.! I have it almost figured out. It worked fine before Hurricane Irene's heavy rain. Not only would it not run, but there was no buzzer. I took out the fwd, neutral, rev. switch and voila! Two of the three wires had corroded off.
I disconnected the neg. batt. wire then fit new crimp connectors at the switch. I wired it the way I thought it had looked, left to right: blue/red/brown. When I hooked the battery wire back up it made a loud spark. Nothing worked but apparently no fuses were blown. I know the blue wire was connected properly (since it was the one that hadn't corroded off) so I switched the red and brown to: blue/brown/red. Now I have forward but still no reverse and no buzzer. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Can you put a meter on the flip switch contact and see if it is getting output voltage when you have it in reverse? Sounds like either the switch is not making contact internally (could be corrosion) or it shorted out. I do not have a schematic in front of me, but I am assuming the back up alarm gets it power from the same out put side of the switch.

well its possible you fried the switch and also possible it took out the controller......start with the switch............one thing to always keep in mind these things don,t like water .............even washing them if you get carried away it may not run for 3 days or more while its drying out.............just keep that in mind.............................
