Default Which battery?

I hooked up the Precedent light kit ("plug & play") two years ago to the '08 batteries. As instructed, blue wire to the positive terminal on the front battery on passenger side and red wire to the positive terminal on the front battery on the driver side. Which battery is supplying the 12 volts of power to my lights????? All four batteries are reading 12.95 to 13.0 volts!

If you have a Precedent with 4 12 volt batteries, then battery #4, the front passenger side battery should be the one supplying the power for your lights, (see picture showing Precedent and follow using the + & - as shown for 12 volts off #4 battery.) No other battery should be used but I would highly suggest getting a converter from 48 to 12 and use that instead since it will feed off your entire pack instead of just one battery.

Thank you for you prompt response which confirmed what I thought....#4 supplies power to the lights. Believe it or not, that battery shows the highest reading of the four (13.0 volts). The others show between 12.95 & 12.98. I use the lights for 1/2 hour on Friday & Saturday nights every two weeks. I know many of you guys are strong proponents of the converter, but this would seem to indicate for my amount of usage, it may not be necessary. Thanks again, Scub!
