Default Needing some advice

I fried my controller in my 08 precedent, I am looking for speeds at the most 25 mainly looking for torque. So my question is should I go with the 500a alltrax controller or the 400a if later I decide to go with the bandit motor.

Also If I install the controller will I need to install larger wires and a heavy duty solenoid Right away
Or should I just install factory controller and go with the plum quick motor.

well, at 48v, a Evnetics Soliton 1 or Soliton Jr would probably be "the best" but is massively overkill for a golf cart. Alltrax would be the best reasonable alternative.

And a 924 engine would be overkill in a gas cart, so a Honda or Briggs is a reasonable alternative

When I smoked my controller I looked at all of the options and ended up with a 500A Flight Systems controller per recommendation from the guys at PlumQuick. Along with the controller I installed 4ga wires and ran the factory solenoid and motor. I upgraded the motor about three months later and just this weekend upgraded the cables and solenoid which were still working fine. I was right at 24-25mph and blowing by the other carts on the hills at the campground with just the controller and cables. Doing the motor and other upgrades is just like icing a cake. Makes it SWEET!!!!

Oh and remember the faster you go the harder it is to stop. One thing leads to another and the you have to take a second mortgage on you home.

Thinking of doing the same thing, let us know how well it works. I really need more torque.
