Yep it is making contact with all the shoes.
What is the diode looking thing that is on the black wire coming out of the backside of the v-glide? It goes up to one of the three micro switches on the f&r there is also a white wire that comes from the same area. These ones are seperate from the two mocro switch wires

Ok messed with this thing all day and here is where I'm at. I took the v-glide out and cleaned all the connection any everything looks great. All the little diodes in the back look good and ohming them out they perform perfect. I got the car to run! Yahoo!!! BUT I have to finess the throttle pedal to do so. OK I press the pedal down to the floor and nothing happens, but, if I slowly bring the pedal back (to the point were it almost disingages the micro switch at the second-third copper contact in the v-glide) than the motor will start to turn and run fine all the way up to full throttle and back down as long as I dont let of the throttle. As soon as I fully let off the throttle and then step back on it the car is dead again. (Until I slowely let off the throttle again almost to the end and then Yahoo the car runs again. WHAT THE HELL???

i have been thinking about this and the only thing i can come up with at this point to try would be to adjust the movable arm contct so its putting more pressure on the shoes as it passes them...........................

Nope didn't change anything. I'm still stuck with a non-moving car. Does anyone know what the diode/resistor is that is coming out of the v-glide on the black wire? What is this supposed to do?
