Default Build Progress!

Well, it's alive!

It started out as a $100.00, 1995 Regen I 48V with an extra body and a powerdrive 1 charger. It was not fun to get on the trailer because the front end was in a pile next to the cart. I got an Allsport 7.5 lift from a member here and bought some HD springs and Monroe shocks for the back. I also got a 36V series motor from the same guy. I had to pull out the pot box and slapped in a MCOR conversion kit. Replaced the old T-shaped controller with an Alltrax NPX4844 and a HD 200 amp WR 586 solenoid. Got a 36V series F/R lever and built a set of 4ga wires. I left off the OBC because I have a 48V auto charger. Bought a set of US 8V batteries to slap in. The key switch was bad so I picked one up today and it's all good! This thing is really fast. I can't wait for the batteries to get broke in! I really need a new set of tires and wheels because I don't think these stockers will do! I am going to paint the other body red I think. As you can see, the seats are not 95 style but the newer seats. I picked them up from a cart yard for $40.00. I am going to get them covered. I am going to leave the top off because I don't want the kids to rip it off going through the woods. I think a sport half windshield will look good. It only takes money so now that it's running, I will get things like Johnny Cash did, 1 piece at a time (except I will pay for them)! It was not easy to wire because of the no OBC, MCOR and 36V F/R (only 1 micro switch) it didn't match any diagrams. A few minunets on the phone with TahoedawgZ71, we had it running with no blown parts or smoking wites! Here is how she is now and I well post pics as I get them done.
