I never said it was "fine" I just said it could be done. Oh and I forgot to add..the cart is now sitting in the corner of the garage...too many solenoids to replace and several step throttle micros burned out. He asked if he could just throw 6 - 8v batteries in it and go. Thats why yes and no!! You can but sooner or later you are going to have to go with a new controller upgrade. But yes Scotty you are right!!

No harm done, I just didn't want people to think they could put 48v through a 36v resistor or solenoid speed control system without paying a price eventually. Thanks

At least it's a quick way to get a custom "flame job" in a short period of time.
