Default PowerDrive 3 M#26560 Breaker Trips

Power Drive 3 not charging my 2007 Precendent; found the ciruit breaker tripped after two weeks away with charger plugged in on 2001 Precendent. Unplugged the charger from the cart, re-engaged the circuit breaker, plugged into cart - charger hummed as usual, but charging guage flickered for about 2 - 3 seconds and breaker tripped. Tried process again with same result. I'm a newbie at golf cart repair, but a decent handyman. Any ideas on where to start?

Rectifier or "diod tree" in the charger. Cheap and easy to fix. Download the manual from the sticky in this forum.

The manual that Colby is talking about has a test senario for the rectifier. Quick and simple if you have a volt meter handy.

See below link for diagram of Powerdrive 3. #13 is the rectifier, #26 is the circuit breaker. Buy both and replace. You will be good to go.
