98' Club Car only lunges
I have a 98' Club Car 48v powerdrive system. I just got the cart so don't know anything about it. I put in all new batteries but it won't go. I can slowly push the pedal and it engages but as it starts to move everything goes dead. Then it won't do anything until I take off the hot cable and put it back on. Then it will do the exact same thing. When I got it there was a sloenoid in the basket and the guy told me he just installed a new penetrometer (whatever that is). He told me the batteries were bad but looks like he lied.

The main cable that comes off the positive side and goes to rear of cart. I assume to the solenoid.
