Question Royal Ride

Hi,
I just bought an Elmco Royal Ride 48 volt 4 passenger (forward seating) customized Club Car. Not sure of the year, but I know it's between a 75 and 80 because of the three pedal set up. Does anyone know where I can find parts for the Elmco half? How about a lift kit for that period club car... everything I find says 82 and up. I will probably stay with the 5 resistor set-up because it's already there (someone tried to fix it and started melting wires) How about repair kits for the hydrolic brake system? The previous owner was using the parking brake to stop because the hydrolic system didn't work.

Any info on parts or how to, etc. would be great!

I plan to give the cart a black and silver paint job and at least a 6" lift. I'll get pics of it the way it is to compare to later when I'm done with it and post them as soon as I can.

Thanks, Scott

Reread his post.......He can't find parts to fix the hydraulic brakes and he can't find a lift kit and he can't find some other stuff he doesn't even know he needs yet

If you haven't paid for yours I would back out of this deal

I feel I work for a excellant repair shop. Yes you can buy aftermarket brake shoes(bad quality)/wheel cylinders and master cylinders. Does anyone know where to buy new "stamped steel" brake drums? You can install all new parts and I know from experiance.........the customer will be back "time and time" again, saying the brakes "lock up". We decided it's not worth the time and trouble to the customer. FIXEROFCARTS...post your location and I'll send all the early Club Car/RoyalRide customers I get to you. Later Dave
