Default 93 CC cant push pedal down fast

Howdy all,

I am back and working on another cart for the kids. I have a 93 club car DS, and I have to push the accelerator pedal down very slow to get the cart to move...if I push is down fast the cart does not move. I can hear the solenoid click either way. I check and I have 0-5k on the throttle. Wondering if anyone had this issue.

Also when I got the cart it came with a 1204-001 curtis contoller installed...and in the glove compartment there was a 1204-015. Which one is stock and will the -015 work if I have issues with the -001.

Thank guys....Good luck to those who will be archery hunting Saturday.

open the V-glide and see whats going on in there..................it may just be a adjustment or a worn or drirty ramp or shoe..............also look at the micro switch in there...........as for the controller ??? i,ll let someone who knows answer that.................................

I'm with Tom, sounds like a V-glide issue.

Sorry, I can't help on the interchange, but my Curtis controller had a feature called " high pedal disable - HPD ". Check and make sure the power to your #1 pin comes on before the pot box resistance goes up. It just takes some micro switch adjustment if this is not correct. Mine did this and getting the power to the controller first fixed it!

a 93 dosn,t have a potbox unless someone installed it afterwards......its gonna have a V-glide with a movable wiper arm a set of ramps or shoes with a single micro switch to activate solenoid.............................

You are correct...it has the v-glide style 0-5k

I am running new wires this weekend....changing over to all 4g welding cable. So I will then have a better baseline...

I have the cart rewired and after fixing some things and reworking the vglide...you can push the pedal down much faster. But you cannot push it to the floor fast...nothing happens.

Is this typical or still something wrong. I mean its not normal to slam the pedal down....maybe protection built in....

Not sure

Thanks all,
Smoman

if i,m reading it right it dosn,t sound normal but question is..........is it livable? or still something that poses an issue.................it has to be something in the V-glide if you went in there and worked and it helped..........................
