Default wont go up hill, just chatters

so on flat surface will run pretty strong, but if i push the petal all the way down it seems to lose power and the radio and head lights go off. then if i try to go up a hill the cart just kind of stops and shakes and chatters, it trys to go but just cant seem to do it! and like i said the radio and lights shut off as well when u push the accelerator! its a 1991 club car

If you have a digital voltmeter (DVM) you should connect it to the pack, and see how far it drops when you try the hill...... then put it on individual batteries and retest until you find the one(s) that are dropping out....(going down more than 2v)

You definitely have a battery issue.

It looks bad. 39 v under load. how charged are they? when was the last time they were charged? How much have you used it since charging before the test.....the answers to all these questions will help me answer your question but generally speaking the results are not indicative of healthy batteries.

Fully charged the batteries should be reaching 60v as a pack and then settling to 50.9 over the next 12-24 hours.. 50.9 is 100% charged. It looks like you need new batteries.

At least you understand you need the best battery you can afford. Try real Trojan T105 or Crown CR225 or US2200
I'm in Ca so not much help on what's available for you...
