Default battery light indicator

added some distilled water to some cells that were low....ever since the yellow battery light indicator comes on while it is plugged in.....that is plugged in and not charging...2006 cc ds 4 12 volts reads only 50v while it is plugged in and turned on...time for new batteries? when unplugged and turned on it drops to 48.2v

Those are some low readings. If the date codes on the batteries are 4 yrs old I would guess it is time for new batteries.
48.2 is at 50% draw down and full charge on the charger should go up wards of 60v before shutting off.

what stage of the charge is the 50 volt reading? and are you leaving the charger on to complete charge before you get down to 48.2 volts? this past weekend my batteries were above 65 volts towards end of charging but later after charger was off it went down to 53 or so volts........................

If they are at 48.2 after a cycle, it is time for new ones! You are saying 50.2while plugged in, is that right when it is pluged in or at the end of a cycle? Also, 48.2 when done, is that righr after a charge or couple hours of sitting. Be specific and you can get a more accurate answer.

right after I unplug it after being on charger constantly plugged in it drops to 48.2.....never goes above 50.2 after plugged in overnight and turn key while it is plugged in....sounds like they are on life support?
