Default Bad Power drive 2 charger Need Help

I have a 2004 Club Car DS 48v , I have replace the On Board Computer and the Charger Relay, Diode/Rectifier and Circuit Breaker and I am still unable to get the charger to start Charging, Relay does not close, no transformer hum and ammeter does not move. I have tested with another charger and the cart will Charge. I have tested the transformer with a meter and it seems fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Did you read the powerdrive sticky? How many volts are in your pack? Low voltage will prevent the charger from starting up....

I see he tested with another charger and it worked. Wonder if it was with the same type?

48.6 is only a 55% charge. Sounds like your batteries are getting bad too. I can't help you with your charger. Too bad you don't live in East Texas. I saw a powerdrive charger on CL this week for $150.00.

sounds like the wire that attaches to the control board from the whip does not have voltage, or one of the wires in the whip are bad maybe even the whips plug itself, check continuity on your whip and then plug it into the cart and check for voltage and ground. the only things left to check are the amp meter which if its open will not allow the charger to turn on, or if the transformer itself is bad it will not kick on.
I would guess its the amp meter or your whip though anyways best of luck

AC cable on charger? i have seen them go bad.........no real common but they do go bad and if you replaced everything else theres not much left .........if another charger works on your cart and charges than you know 100% problem is with charger...........check the cable....................and if not check the cable and pins that plug into cart..........................

What should the pack voltage be? And how do you measure charge percentage?

At full charge the pack voltage should be 51V. Here is a chart to show state of charge. Your pack was 48.6v divided by 4= 12.15V per battery which would be 55%.
