Default Felt pad

There is a small felt pad that is on top of the right axle tube right below the motor. It is just stuck on there with some two sided tape. Mine was 95% off and just hanging there. What is this for?

I don't have any there. Maybe it protects the axle from the motor during installation. Preventing scrapes and future rust????

Probably from the motor shipping from the factory to CC and they just never removed it.

I bet it's for protection, or vibration? Do you think it's something added by original owner?

What South said makes sense too!

I think south is correct. I know the original owner and this was not added.

I guess we are the few that it was still attached. Must have been a better holding glue on our carts

Mine was just about off and I helped it along, so it's naked now
