Default 04 DS won't run

I had a friend weld a crack in the frame and when I went to pick it up it will not run, does nothing, no solenoid click, no reverse buzzer, nothing. He unhooked the negative battery cable before welding on the cart but obviously that was not enough. Any ideas as to what has happened? Troubleshooting advise?

did he put the cart in tow? yes welding can cause damage........have you checked any fuses? have you tried the charger to see if it still works? no solenoid click either i take it?................have you checked all your wires/cables to make sure nothing burnt or came off?............................
