Default Motor swap opinions

I read a post here about someone using a limo motor in a two seat cart. I went to cc site and checked the specs. Ds hp is 3.2 continuous and 10 intermittent. The villager 8 hp is 3.7 continuous and 21 intermittent. Now i assume that cont. Hp is what is used for cruising at speed and the inter. Hp is what gets you up to speed. So i can also assume then that would be a 50% increase in torque. Is this correct? Can this be a motor only swap or will i need to upgrade all the other stuff too? Couldn't find controller specs so im not sure if they are the same or not. Anybody done this swap? What do yall think?

07 ds iq 48v, 6" lift, 23x10x12 tires

I actually ran that motor on my Precedent before getting a Plum Quick.... Honestly, I was not impressed. It didn't feel any different than the stock one to me. Not worth the time or the money. It probably would be if you'd put some more power to it. The Villager 8 vehicle you're referring to would have come with the "IQ PLUS" system which used a 500A controller.
