washed it now a buzzing noise?
washed my 01 cart today and now it is making a buzzing noise and runs about 1/4 normal speed. Theres a orange wire on top of F/R switch I can unplug it and it will quite buzzing and run normal. anyone have any ideals whats wrong

Sounds like the f/r switch got some water inside to cause a short between forwd and rev. Would explain the buzz unless you have the rev buzzer disconnected. Also might be causing the speed issue. Check it out tomorrow after it drys out a bit. Maybe you get lucky!

I would guess that if you decide to give one a good washing, it would be best to let it sit for a day or two from reading this thread.

i agree. Is there anything specific that needs to to waterproofed. I plan on doing alot of hunting on this rig and it would suck to get something wet and have to walk back.
