Default Battery removal

May sound stupid but having a terrible time removing the two outermost 12volt trojans on my 48v 2006 ds club car....any special ways to tilt or drop them so battery lip isnt caught onder the edge of the body molding?? Dont want to be stupid but its like the cart was made around the 4 trojans...lol

it they don,t have the built on strap the next best thing is a battery strap that will lift them..........they can be a pain...................................

They must be tipped to remove or install. The outside edge will have to be higher than the inside or middle of the cart end to remove them.
If you have a strap as suggested just grab it off center so the outside edge is considerably higher than the inside and they will thread themselves out...

I have the four battery (Trojans) 48 volt setup and recently removed battery #s 2 & 3. This would have made it easier to remove #s 1 & 4. However, since you may not want to go that far, a strap on both ends may be the best solution for your particular application.

that is a good idea....never saw one of them before.....will certainly make removal and installation easier....thank for all the help....

i would use a strap or tip it over on one of the sde bar and go from there

The one thing with the strap I posted above is its made for a top post battery. The cart batteries use a top post stud so I guess you would have to use a nut and fender washer to attach the strap. And a good strap since the 12v weigh about 80 pounds each

I use those plastic wire ties. I can pull the battery out with my finger enough to grab with my hands
