Just ordered one of your meters and trim plate Scotty. I was going to leave a message with the payment when it went through but I missed it. The meter will be for the cart in my Sig. The payment is coming through Paypal from iamdudley.

Thanks, Sam

Generally, you can always use a bigger wire than recommended for any electrical application, you get into trouble when you start using smaller than recommended wire.

Angry Re: Precedent SOC ~ digital meter install

scottyb, I am glad you reopened this post. It reminded me to order a meter from you. That I just did. I am still not clear about the red and black/yellow wire under the dash of the CC pecedent. Mine is a 2009 - 6/8 volt and there is a red and black/yellow wire behind the dash and they meter the same voltage as the pack. Can I attach your meter to them? They seem to run right to where an indented templet is made into the back of the dashplate (must be for a factory install meter). Gso125's post worries me about things acting up after his install to factory wires behind the dash. Looking forward to be able to tell the misses to re-charge when she sees the number 48. She will still find a way to screw it up!!!!
