On/Off switch for 25 amp converter

Would an electrical expert please advise me as to what toggle (or similar) switch I should use to power on/off my 25 amp converter. I would like to install the switch on the pos input from the battery pack and mount it near the tow/run switch. Thanks, Steve

Something like this? On edit, the link is for 25A 12V rating. You need something rated for 25A 48V. Still looking......

Nope . . think switch needs to be rated for 48v . . .

I wouldn't use a switch at all.
For about $4 you can buy a 48v or 36v 30 amp relay and have the converter come on as soon as the ignition is on.

This avoids having to lift the seat and flip a switch every time you want to use an accessory.

I like the idea of a relay too. It would be an easy install.

I use a Potter and Brumfield T9AP1D52 relay for this, available from Mouser, Digikey or Jameco.
This $4 relay is the same one that Club Car uses and charges $30 for it.
Edited: To avoid confusion, I have removed the photo and reposted below with the converter completely powered down with the key switch off.

Just a quick ?...To insure no power is getting to the converter, shouldn't I put the relay on the 48 volt input to the converter (from battery pack)? I want to stop all power from getting to it.

The converter is staying slightly warm with nothing drawing from it.

With the relay wired as I showed, as soon as you turn off the ignition, the power drops from the relay and it disconnects 12v but not the converter.
If you want the converter to disconnect completely, substitute the 12v connections in the photo for 48v to the converter then no power will go to the converter with the ignition switch off.
