01' CC DS Powerdrive II Regen wont move
Ok, first of all this thing is becoming a nightmare! The complaint from my customer was the cart is dead and will not move. Upon my first diagnosis I found 2-bad batteries, which I had replaced, thinking that would cure the "no-go" problem. Unfortunately, it did not. I also found that the battery charger would not start. Yup, it was a bad OBC. I replaced the OBC and now it charges, but still no-go. I get a solenoid click once in a while and I get 50+ volts to the motor, but it still will not move. When the solenoid does not click, I try to jump the solenoid and it sparks like it's grounded. What gives?
Also, I have replaced the speed controller in a desperate attempt to throw parts at the problem, but of course, that did not fix it. While I was trying to diagnose the no-go issue, another battery went dead, so I replaced the remaining batteries with new ones. Still no go… Can anyone help me with this or provide me with a diagnostic tree that might help me find the problem? Thanks in advance, Mike |
