Which F&R Switch Do I Buy
I need to replace my Forward and Reverse switch and do not know which one to buy? BU and other sites sell 2 different ones that look they would fit my cart. One is around $100 and says it is standard duty and has 3 micro switches and the other one is around $60 and says it is standard duty and has just 2 micro switches. Here is the info for my cart:
All stock 2005 Club Car 48v Electric DS Regen Stock switch you push down the left side for forward and push down the right side for reverse - neutral is in the middle Thanks in advance and let me know if you need any more info! |

Re: Which F&R Switch Do I Buy
You need the 3 micros to connect to all your stuff. I use a HD old style switch modified with the 3 micros for modern 48v carts. They are not up on the website yet, you can pm me for more information.

Re: Which F&R Switch Do I Buy
Sounds like I need the $100 one - seems like a lot for a simple looking switch but it's about the same price on all the sites!
P.S. I am also going to by-pass my OBC and use a new charger that has it's own controls buit in. Do I still need the F&R Switch with the 3 micro switches? Thanks |

Re: Which F&R Switch Do I Buy
If you have to replace it why not go ahead and do an HD switch so you will never have to worry about it again. Get with Scottyb at Carts Unlimited(sponsor here) and he will get you fixed up.
If you don't mind me asking, what's wrong with your current setup? |

Re: Which F&R Switch Do I Buy
The F&R switch is just wore out and you have to keep messing with it to make it work.
Good News - I just learned that I hav a DS IQ cart and all I need is a $16 rocker F&R switch replacement. |

Frame that receipt . . . that will probably be the least expensive item you ever install . . .
