Runs slow with new batteries
1994 Club Car 36v Serial number A9407 369660
Just installed brand new batteries and it runs very slow almost stopping on little hills. Other carts just move away from us on the tees. Double checked the battery wiring. The only thing I've noticed is that the F & R switch always takes 2 attempts to put into reverse. Thanks for your help! |

Re: Runs slow with new batteries
welcome, since new batteries are only approx 75% the cart will run slower until they are broke in..............you will notice a difference when they break in as long as you break them in right, keep water level right and always let charger run until it shuts off on its own...........no pulling the plug after 6 hours thinking thats plenty of time.................try and not run them down to 80% and try and never run them down past 50% .......when they are broke in you,ll know it....................................

Re: Runs slow with new batteries
OK, no meter, so we use the cart to play 18 drive it home then plug it in. Keep it filled(with distilled water). We should see a noticable increase in speed after about 10 or so rounds? Anything else that might be worth checking? thanks again!
