Default Club Car DS 48v - Wont run

I am working on a Club Car DS that is currently not running. The serial number has been painted over, so I am unable to determine a year. It does have 2 solenoids, one wich has the resistor coil on it.

The solenoid is not clicking. Pack voltage is over 50 volts. I have test the micro switches and they all appear to be working properly. For whatever reason, I only get 5 volts to the small post on the solenoid. If i unplug the wiring harness for the controller, i then get 48 volts on the small post. But the second it plugged back in, it goes back down to 5 volts.

Am i looking at a bad controller? The OBC was recently changed as well, however, its my understanding the cart wasnt running before this was replaced. So I dont know if it is some how related to it being changed or not.

Any Ideas?
Thanks

have you tried jumping the main solenoid? the one without the resistor coil...........if not jack the rear up put a jumper on large post turn key on put in gear and press pedal..........do that after checking to make sure all wires and cables are hooked up and clean connections, also have you checked each battery for voltage? load tested them each? there are plenty of things to make it not run before getting to the controller..................will the charger work on the cart? have you tried it?................do work this list in reverse what i mean is do everything else here before jumping solenoid.......oh and welcome...........................

not sure which forward / reverse switch you have...but if it's the one with a large handle the is an "ANTI ARCING" micro switch behind it that shuts the system down to prevent an electric acr as you switch forward to reverse.

I would pull the wires off this switch and check it out first

rememember:

Where ever you have a mechanical action.....
eventually you will have an electrical defect

FB, if the cart has 2 solenoids, one with a resistor it should have a rocker switch with the 3 micro,s mounted to the back side.......................
