Mximum voltage a 8V battery should be subject to during a normal charge
Hi,
I was wondering what is the maximum voltage a 8V battery should be subject to during a normal charging cycle. I have a 48V DS 2002 IQ. i think. Regards Scott. |

About 10.5 volts is the most a stock golf cart charger will put into an 8v. They can take more for short periods of time.

Thanks for your prompt reply scottyb!
I am getting upto 10.8V per battery for the last 5 amps (upto a couple of hours) of the charge cycle. Is this anything to be concerned about? |

Toward the end of the chargers cycle it will do an equalization charge. That reading seems perfectly normal to me.
