Default Higher Torque???

I have a 2003 Club Car IQ. It is currently set on the highest speed without paying for the upgrade. I have since converted to a lift and larger tires. If I lower the speed setting will I get increased torque. I think I would rather have higher torque for off-road use.

Thanks....

Yes, you will need more torque to roll those bigger tires.
High speed in a lifted golf cart is not as fun as it sounds...they have only 2wheel brakes and tend to be a bit unstable. Good luck

Is there any way to increase the torque on a 02 DS?

A bigger motor and controller is the way to go! But for economy sake you could buy the bigger controller ( 450 - 500 amp) first and use that with your stock motor until you are ready to buy a bigger motor. You will see some increase in torque with just a bigger controller and who knows? That may be all you need!
