Default 86 elec. Cc, battery boondoggle 36v.

Anyone have any idea why 2 of the 6 batteries won't charge? The two on the far right under the passenger side don't want to charge in a pack, when charged seperately (as 1-12v) they seem to be charging. They are all same manf. Same date of purch. New this summer and not used alot till hunting season, now in colder weather i have lost power to climb even slight grades. They recover enough in an hour or so to turn the thing around and limp home defeated.the charger is old too, but the other batts. Seem quite happy to be fed from it, and they hold their charge of just a little over 6v until used awhile. Warmer weather power was good, but it hasnt been much below 32deg. And not for long, plus the cart is garaged. The voltage on the two suspect batts. Does drop off slowly in the pre, post, and static test i did, while a third control batts, voltage remains steady 6.15 at static. Is it possible i have 2 defective batteries? Is it the cooler weather, or am i barking up the wrong tree?

1. Load test all batteries.
2. Try changing the 2 "bad" one's location in the pack.
3. Double check all connections for being properly wired and tight.

That's a start . .

are you sure the charge receptical wires are hooked to the right batteries? in most cases when you get the same one that for some reason isn,t charging its because someone took the wires off and put them back on in the wrong place.........and if the other battery is the one that is connected to the 1st one than both won,t charge..............make sure those wires are hooked in the right places.................................

shadowman, i think you've got it, i looked and i am charging from the first to the fourth, where the reverse cable goes, no wonder itll still go in reverse huh? i'm thinking i need to take the smaller wire from the charger recpt. which is piggybacked with the reverse cable,on the direction controller to the fourth battery, and move it to the controller term. that connects the sixth battery, for forward running, am i making any sense? i guess i was trying to push a charge into those last two batteries, from the fourth, with no way for it to flow thru, wasn't gonna happen, right? thanks.
