Do I Have A 36 or 48 Volt Club Car ?
Hello all ! I just bought a project for winter, 1998 Club Car A9851719581 . The person I bought it from said it is a 36 volt the golf cart has no batteries or motor. The battery plugin on the golf cart for the charger is round with 3 pins that makes me believe its a 48 volt. anyone have any ideas how to know for sure ? Thanks for the help, Tim

The 36 or 48 volt motor should have a 10 spline coupler on the motor correct ?

Re: Do I Have A 36 or 48 Volt Club Car ?
you can buy 2 more 6 volt batteries but your gonna need 48 volts all your doing is going with a 36 volt motor which will work but everything else has to be 48 volt so if you already have a set of 6 volt batteries just add 2 more thats better than 6 eight volt batteries anyways..................longer runtime.........you,ll be happy, and yes your motor splines are the same.................................
