Default Wiring question

I have a 2005 DS IQ. I have been having an issue with very low speed. Looking at the cart today, I found that the red wire from the motor speed sensor is broken where it goes into the female connector. My question is: can I bypass the three pin plugs and wire directly until I can get new connectors?

Default Re: Wiring question

you can just either connect the 3 wires to the SAME COLOR wire directly or buy a 3-pin male and female at radio shack.

if that doesn't work ..you might have blown your Hall Effect senser in the SPEED SENSOR.....

very easy to rebuild and replace

this is a allegro 1302 hall effect sensor
www.digikey.com part ----# 620-1012-nd ----$1.55

just hollow out and resolder wires as shown

note both types of sensor......... "ROUND" no screw holes and the one pictured below use the same type of hall effect sensor
