Smile help with alltrax DCX install

trying to install Alltrax DCX nivel563 on my clubcar 48 volt golf cart impossible to get the model number off the ID tag on cart but after talking to the guy at buggies unlimited and answering some questions he determined it to be a 8 to 2002 re-gen model and sent me this alltrax controller but looking at it it looks nothing like the original that came out. The thing that worries me the most is the original had two big lugs on each end this one has all the lugs plugs and everything on one end of the unit. It also only has three big lugs so i was it came with some new wires and stuff was wondering if anyone had any pics of this install web links or anything that might help me get this thing in or if it will even work any help greatly appreciated thanks

What was the reason for the controller change out?

old controller was silver in color and about the same size as replacement 2 big lugs and wire harness plug on one end with two big lugs and two smaller lugs on the other end. I had no power coming out of old one and golfcart would not go got tester out and tracked it down to the controller so now trying to get new one hooked up.

lots of the new ones only have 3 lugs.......when you put the alltrax on theres a lug you don,t need to use you just have to connect 2 cables togather, the directions on installing it should be in with the controller...............and it tells you exactly what to do.......................................

You have a PD PLUS Cart . It is also known as a REGEN 2. NO aftermarket controller is going to be a direct bolt in, you have to move some wires or replace them to make them fit. Mine was a 2001 PD Plus, I've replaced everything LONG ago and run a DCX 500 amp controller and a 400 amp solenoid with 2gauge wiring.

Follow this wiring diagram and information from Alltrax to install your controller.

And for reference here are pictures of the controller he has and some of my install.
