Can a powerdrive 3 charger be used on a 2000 series club car?

Re: club car chargers
I dunno, plug fits but doesn't charge. Just being paranoid I guess...
Should I be able to read 48v across the charger plug? |

Re: club car chargers
does the amp meter on charger go up? are you sure charger even works? but it would have nothing to do with it being a powerdrive 3.............................................

Re: club car chargers
its much more common for something to be wrong with cart before charger.............are there any shops to have it checked out? i would really want to have the charger checked if its doing nothing at all i would suspect its in the cart..................but its always safer to have charger checked 1st................................

Re: club car chargers
you should be able to read 48 volts across the charger terminals that will let you know if the cables are getting a good connection. I also know that if your batteries are TOO low it will not read on the charger and it will keep the charger from kicking on. If that is your case then just hook up a car charger to the batteries individually until they have a little more of a charge and try the charger again
