Default 2004 Precedent No reverse!

It goes forward fine. When I switch into reverse the buzzer sounds and solenoid clicks but doesn't move. When i first hit the pedal almost seems like it also wants to nudge forward a little then stops while in reverse. Has anyone ever seen this?

Sounds like a bad motor or controller to me. Either can cause this. Get your multimeter out and check the motor. Put tow switch in TOW, unhook wires from motor, Check for continuity between A1 and A2, then check from F1 to F2. You should have continuity in both places, but none across either A to either F, or to the base of the motor. This would indicate a short. If the motor passes the test, replace controller.

I think it's controller too but it definitely never hurts to eliminate other possibilities

Thanks for the input guys. I will have to grab the service manual and test it. I see there are a bunch of test for the speed controller. Should I do all of them or is there one that would let me know right off hand? If the motor was bad why would it still go forward fine?

Another guy told me it could be the MCOR on the pedal. Could this be true?

On a series motor, I'd agree with that statement. But shunt wound motors can do crazy things.
