Default Headlight wiring

Hey,

I just bought a club car for my girls for Christmas. I think that it is likely a 1997 model. All the batteries were dead when purchased so I replaced all 6 with trojans. The cart has headlights, taillights, and turn signals. Now that I have batteries and it runs, I have noticed a problem. The lights are wired wrong somehow. The headlights do not come on when you use the headlight switch. They actually come on when you use the turn signal!!! If you turn on the right turn signal, the right headlight flashes. IF you turn on the left turn signal, the left head light flashes. But when you turn on the headlights, nothing happens. Does anyone happen to have a wiring diagram of how they are supposed to be wired so I can compare it. Like I said, I just bought it last week and put batteries in it today. I have no clue who or when it was wired. Any help will be appreciated. I would love to get it resolved for my girls before Christmas. Thanks again!!
