CC Caroche Accelerator Stuck

I have a 1975 CC Caroche 36v cart with 5 solenoids, cannot find a wiring diagram for this year cart but replaced brushes in motor and replaced it, and now when you turn key on in N its fine when you put in forward or reverse it goes and when you mash accelerator it speeds up. My question is:

It should only move when accelerator is pressed so what could be causing this problem? Solenoid stuck? Micros?

Could this have been what burnt the brushes Up?

yes it could have burnt them up......sounds like at the least the master solenoid is stuck so get that one fixed 1st than go from thee.......if they are in a row behind the batteries it should be furthest left one or the only one without a resistor coil mounted to it................if you follow all the small wires from solenoid they should lead you to the micros.............i think they are under the dash....................................

Ok will try that, just know that there are 5 and could only find a 4 solenoid diagram. And then I have a 2002 DS with a half melted solenoid doing the same thing just came in the shop so that helps me think that the 2 problems are the same?

My serial # A7914 03102

7838 - 11198 will be a 1975 manufactered between 01/01/75 to 12/10/75

I guess I did the math right?

not sure about all that but the solenoid without a resistor coil should be the main and the others from left to right should be 1st speed 2 speed and so on...........................
