if your ampmeter needle isn,t moving something is wrong...............when a 36 volt cart with good batteries is done charging your voltage should be somewhere about in the 39 volt range.....mine in my 36 volt cart are a tad over 39 volts after it sits a day with a full charge............................

Exclamation Re: inherited 93 Club Car part 2

A long time ago, before the days of smart charging systems, I worked as a maintenance mechanic in factories that used electric forklifts. We bought electrolyte to add to batteries, but only batteries that had been charged too quickly by the lift operator, and had actually boiled out liquid electrolyte, not just evaporated out some of the water in the solution. We tested the gravity of the solution at full charge, and then only if the gravity was correct and the level was low did we added electrolyte. Because you have dumped your electrolyte and used a poor substitute, you might benefit from dumping that and buying electrolyte and refilling the batteries. Having said all this, I feel like I should also say, DON"T DO THIS! It would only be a temporary fix. The solution you buy would need to be the at the correct concentration or if you don't know what that should be you would need to have the hydrometer to test it, a safe way to dispose of the old solution, and all the personal protective equipment, such as gloves, aprons, face shields and goggles needed to do this safely and correctly. You should just save your money and buy new batteries.

check up in the stickies there should be a diagram for the charger. You may have to go through several of the diagrams but I do believe there is one for the charger.............................
