Default Headlights not working

2000 Club Car headlights not working - all other lights OK - seems like a fuse - is there one and if so where is it?? Checked the power with a voltmeter - no juice.

Assuming you have no fuse block, typically there is one fuse in line for both headlights and tail lights . . . when she goes, then no lights at all . . . I would check your ground wire connection/connections on your headlights . . .

Not sure if there is a fuse block - where do I look?? (I'm cart ignorant!) Only fuse I can see is a 30a inline on a red wire.

Probably the only one then . . . you need to trace your headlight wires checking positive wire(s) back to switch and negative wire(s) back to battery for loose/disconnection along the path . . .

36 or 48 volt cart? if its just headlights and all other lights work i think i would be looking for a wire that came off or broke.....start right at the headlights and look at the white wires follow them as best you can can and look for a break or hanging wire if you find none than get a voltage meter and confirm you have power going to them ..........if you have power try new bulbs...........it dosn,t happen often but i have seen both bulbs burn out at the same time ..........not often but does happen........also checjk the grounds for headlights make sure you didn,t lose a ground somewhere................chances are at the batteries all your lights are hooked to the same 2 so i don,t know you,ll find your problem there, also check that fuse you mentioned it might be for headlights......if so if its a 30 amp take it out and drop to 15 amps......more than enough..............................

I had the same problem, changed out both headlight bulbs and everything works now.

OK changed the fuse still no headlights - (this is not my cart but friend of my wife - so browney points if I can fix it). Also means my wife will think that all the time I spend messing around with the cart will somehow be worth it!!) Rolled about underneath - there seems to be some funky wiring but connections all look good. Indicators seem to share same ground and they work fine. At the last connection I can find to the headlights there is no power according to my voltmeter and I can't see how to get behind the dash to check power from the light switch. Could it be as simple as new bulbs - but if so that wouldn't explain no juice to head lights. Sorry to be a pain in the butt.

there are 2 screws holding that little part of dash in.....they are on the sides and might be covered with plastic button type covers.....make sure you disconnect power before taking dash off or be very careful you don,t ground anything against the frame there....................................

If front side markers are working and the rear lights are working, then switch in dash should be fine, but you can check it in case someone did some "creative" wiring there . . . I still think that either both headlight bulbs crapped out at the same time or the ground wire (probably shared between both headlights) may be at fault . . . depends on how the installer wired it up . . . sometimes "backyard electricians" create problems for subsequent owners . . . have you pulled a bulb from the headlights yet to check them?

If you have to disconnect power, make sure the Run/Tow switch is put in the tow position! Also reconnect the power before placing it back to the run position!
This is a controller safeguard.
