Re: 98 culb car ds
the batteries are new less than 1 month old, fully charged the reading across the bank is 45.3 - 48 . cart runs good but seems to lose power quicker than I think it should. The cart is new to me so I dont really know how to compare it.

Hmmm . . . less than 50v after a charge? . . . . . charge and report back individual battery readings, ie, voltage and SG on the cells . . . may have a bad one, even though new . . .

Re: 98 culb car ds
The pack voltage should be 50.93V at full charge. 48V is less than 50% charge. I don't know how you got a varible reading but if you read 45.3 then that is 0%.
Read the charge rates here. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...-readings.html |

if thats a correct reading after a charge thats why light is blinking...............your reading should be a bit higher than that like in the 51 volt range...................so need to find out whats going on, who put batteries in?................... |

Re: 98 culb car ds
It's an obc error code, not sure exactly what the code is. But it's likely you are going to need a new obc. Check to see if it is bringing the pack all the way up to 58-63 volts at full charging before cutting off.
The last thing you want to do right now is pair your new batteries with a bad charging system. |

Re: 98 culb car ds
It could be just a warning that the "no load" voltage is below 48v . . . was this light illuminating after the 16 hour shut off charge cycle?
Need more info . . . |
