Default Rear Seat Kit Install Instuctions

Had read on here about some rear seat installation instructions being a lot left to be desired and boy is that true ! Don't want to mention any brands here for fear of legal action ( you know how some people will sue over anything-LOL ) but I did purchase it from one of the sponsers here , although as with most , they did not make it . The point is , the instructions and pictures are pretty much useless . I emailed the maufacturer about the instructions on the down braces and their reply was that there was a change made to that and " the changes should be in affect now " . He did not tell me what the changes were ! Not only that, their instructions on their website did not show any changes from the instructions supplied with the kit . The hardware list was not even remotely accurate ie. "4-3/8" x 1 3/4" bolts listed two times on the list . It is really pitiful that something like this being produced here . Nuff said !

Is it in fact produced here? Plenty of that type of stuff comes from overseas.

That's a shame. American manufacturers need to pay attention to this stuff.

If you did purchase it from one of the sponsers here then give them a call. From what I have seen they are more then willing to help after the sale.

I have no doubt they would help. Just wanted to vent and let potential buyers , who have to install one for the first time , know what they might come up against. Would not hurt sellers to check out what product they are selling or are looking to sell . Could be , in some cases , something like this could make a supplier look like they are selling inferior product . While I think the quality of the product is good , it could make me wonder if is , based on the quality of the instructions that came with it . Know what I mean ?

Is it a flip seat or stationary? What do you need to know. Because right now you are just complaining and not even asking a question. So instead of wasting your time and ours post what you want/need to know and we can help you. Telling us your instructions suck help us in no way what so ever.

Well ! Seems that I owe ya'll an apology ! I should have used the word "complain" instead of "vent" and should have asked for help , I am sorry . I was able to install the rear flip seat without use of the instructions or without help on how to do it although I did have to have help on the manual labor part due to being on chemothearapy. And , don't you guys new to golf carts worry about the instructions on any product you have to install on your cart - You just ask for help here and you'll have no problem and/or reason to complain because this is a great forum ! Hope I did not waste your time - again !

I think Coltf1991 was a bit under the weather when he responded . . . I have experienced the same situation as I mentioned in the PM I sent you . . the manufacturer did not improve the instructions, however Trademark Carts took it upon themselves to provide detailed install instructions w/pictures available in the listing on their site. Some vendors are responsive and others, well, . . . . . .
