No go after motor install
I have just got my motor back and I installed it. When I put it in forward or reverse it would only barely jump. So then I looked at all my diagrams I have and changed a few things but now I cant even get the solenoid to click on. I am not sure what has happened unless my controller blew so any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Oh and it is a 36v 94 CC Ds with 480 amp logisystem controller.

Re: No go after motor install
First thing that comes to mind is a wire has been reconnected wrong?
Did you mark everything before taking the motor off? Did the cart run before the motor was removed? Lastly what did you change around that made the solenoid stop clicking? |

Re: No go after motor install
I did mark them before i removed the wires. It ran fine before I removed the motor. But i changed up the spots on the motor terminals. I have it hooked up as this diagram says to now.

Re: No go after motor install
The thing I do not understand is how the solenoid stop working because I did not change up anything going to or from it. Only thing I changed was from F/R switch to motor and to controller.

Re: No go after motor install
Well at first my only problem was just a battery connection but from the unfortunate events now it is a blown controller.. So I guess I'm gonna have to throw some more money I don't have into this thing because of my ignorance ..

Re: No go after motor install
I hate to hear that but, there is hardly a one of us who has not, through our own mistakes, smoked a controller.

The only people that do not make mistakes are the ones always sitting on their hands . . .

Re: No go after motor install
Well thanks for making me feel little less dumb ha. Fortunately scottyb is gonna hook me up. But which alltrax diagram should I use whenever I go to install it. I know what I had wrong on the last but I'm still gunshy on plugging it up so I wanna be ready whenever it comes in. I looked on alltrax website but didn't really help because all I saw was for shunt wound motors. However, this one from scotty is the one I believe I should use.

Re: No go after motor install
This is a diagram for an Ezgo. The diagram for a CC is attached. Don't confuse me like this I'm starting to doubt which throttle I programmed into your controller this am!?
