Erict--> Correct I have flipped the numbers above: my 1 is 4 above and 2 is 3 and 3 is 2 and 4 is 1.

I just swapped out #4 (as in the diagram above) with a voltage of 9.86V after use. It felt warm - all others were cold.

What came on it: headlights - which are rarely used and not in last month or so. I have brake lights but they dont seem to work and has been that way for a few years.

Nothing else

Good idea Just disconnect the blue wire on battery #4 and tape it up. Charge the batteries back up and report back.

Ran cart today after charging with accessories disconnected:
Had no issues with cart. Voltage readings after round:
(Battery positions below are the correct way round)
Battery #1 12.2V
Battery #2 12.3V
Battery #3 12.2V
Battery #4 11.9V

So looks like something in accessories is causing a drain - yet none of the accessories are being used.

Did you run it 18 holes? How did it act on hills?

Yes no problem. And our course is VERY hilly. It went up hills better than I have ever experienced - probably due to the PQ motor.

Battery light came on when I got home but went off again. At the voltages above.
I measured voltages all way round.

Also at this time of year - temp was 37o (yes Im a hardy sole) so probably not expecting much more than a solid 18 holes with no slow down.

Now I did two things: 1) I changed the battery #4 (as it previously read 9+V after 18 holes) to another battery that was checked by a dealer and said to be good.
2) I also disconnected the accessories as you advised. Not very Design Of Experiments like to do this but one or other solved the problem.

I am now going to switch back the other battery and see if same result.

The amazing thing is that before this when I put the cart on charge it charged for 7-8 hrs. When I disconnected the accessories it charged for 14 hours
