All I know is that this year the big bucks have been where I have not hunted. Slim season for me so far, but still have a few days left. I guess we need to get some buddy hunts going, but only if you have to use a golf cart to get to your deer stand.

I am disappointed to not have the first Precedent Series cart in the world, but maybe I have the first Precedent Series 48 volt cart. Really for the money the conversion from the 48 volt Regen motor to the 48 volt Series motor was extremely reasonable as far as cost goes in my mind.

I hate to brag on David so much, but I do not guess it is bragging if it is true. When I first called David and he told me all the work he had to do for the conversion I thought I would be lucky to get my cart back before turkey season. I had my cart back in less than a week and it would have been ready quicker if we had not had to wait on the parts.

If you could not tell, I am thrilled with my cart and the way it turned out. I have been cruising the neighborhood looking for unsuspecting victims I could drag race. The problem is it is too cold for anybody else to be out driving around the neighborhood.

I have the exact same issue as vetman. I have an a-arm lifted 08 CC Precedent with a serial # beginning with PH. Im assuming this means I have an excel regen. It works great for most situation but now I am ready to redo the whole thing as I am wanting more power, Plus, I have 4 12v trojans and I am looking to switch to 6 8v. My plan is to upgrade batteries, controller and motor as all these are stock. I took from the thread that I will need an IQ wiring harness as there are no upgrades for Excel. I have the money but my problem is I have no clue how to do this. Does anyone have advice on what parts would be best for a hunting situation? Is there anyone in MS capable of doing this work? Or is it really simple enough to do myself. Thanks for any help.

Brad,

You need to contact David Hicks. His handle is "tahoedawgz71" I think. He replied to this thread as well. He knows his stuff and can tell you or build you what you want in a cart. Mine is pretty bad.

Let me know if I can help you any more.

Thomas.

My goal is avg speed, good torque for inclines and traveling logging roads at deer camp and hauling people/deer while maximizing battery life. (time between charge).
