Default Club Car Models

I hate to ask a silly question. But I will. What is the difference in the club car models ie DS, Precedent, etc. And how do I know what I have?
Mine is a 99 model, that was a regen, but it was converted to a series cart before I bought it. Thanks in advance for the education!

Most likely you have a DS, Precedents didn't come out until 03 or 04.

here's another way for you to check!
