Default Battery help!

I have 2008 Trojan batteries that have worked perfectly until now. I used to be able to play 36 holes with no issues and all of the sudden I can barely get 9. Today I took a voltage reading and this what I got: 12.6, 12.6, 12.6, 11.3. My question is can the 11.3 battery cause the run time to diminish this badly? The 11.3 battery is the front battery on the driver side. Any suggestions, any fixes, any info would be greatly appreciated.

yes that 11.3 is your problem......imagine that under load its more like10.0 or so, i would load test all 4 of them and if you have to try and find a used one thats close to what you have................you also may want to get a hydrometer and check all cells to see where your at................at a minimum your looking at replacing 1 battery and worse case is a whole set.............................

I agree the one low battery will drag your whole pack down. Looks like you were having issues back in Aug 2011?

What is an acceptable difference in SG readings from cell to cell before you should have battery concerns? I think I have seen somewhere that voltage reading from battery to battery should be within about .1 or so. Is that true as well or something different?

Is there any alternatives to improving the performance of the low battery or is replacing it the only option? How should I know to replace the single battery or the entire pack?

Have them all tested by someone you trust . . . chances are they will agree with recommendations you are receiving here . . .

Just changed out my 08 Precedent batteries. I had one low battery ( 10-10.3 volts after a short run) that shortened my run times dramatically. I replaced all four and what a difference.

your S/G readings should be within .25 of each other........anything more they say indicates a problem......................................

Did you consider replacing only the low battery?
