It's like most everything , prices all over the board . Have not finished shopping but so far the best price is $115.47 +S&H . That's just the one with reg headlights .There are other models available with tail lights , LED tail lights , halogen head lights , etc . priced higher , of course .

That's not terrible pricing . . considering most head/tail light kits run around $80+ . . . w/o front facia . . .

I ordered the Cap Light kit and received it today. Looks sharp. Already have a opportunity with mounting. It came with a "template"consisting of an 8-1/2 X 11 sheet of paper witth a drawing of the right headlight cut-out. Have to turn it over for the left, LOL. Now this was made in America, not China. I cannot determine where exactly to put the template(s) for the headlight cut-outs!! I'm thinking if I had a full size template or drawing of the lower front cowl area I could trace the position of the cap and then the headlight cut outs. Going to try to find a Club Car close by ( I hope ) and with some tracing paper make my own full size template. I just can't understand why manufacturers will not provide good instructions! I've already complained on here about the same issue with a rear seat kit. Of course things like that just make it more fun ha,ha, and interesting and challenging. IF anyone has an idea on how I might can get this thing installed, please let me know what your ideas are. Being laid up I doubt that I will get to it for several days. Thank you.

Any chance of you getting someone to take pictures of it (both of the top & the back)? I really want to see what it looks like other than what is in the promo pictures before I make my decision.

I saw where you said you were laid up so please don't hurt yourself worse getting them though, added pain isn't worth a couple of pictures!

Thanks,
-Scott H.

No problem Scott . I won't hurt myself . I can get up for short periods and move around albeit slowly. Early this afternoon, when the temp. and humidity get right, I plan on going out and putting on a top coat of paint on the cowl trim that goes around the top and sides of the cowl . I'll attempt to get the Cap Light out and take , to the best of my abililty , the pics for you . This is my wifes cart I'm working on ( wish I could afford one!) and she does not know I have the light cap and I get a kick out of surprising her (think she likes it too) . She was really excited when I replaced the front roof struts . A couple years ago she let one of our wild 16 yr oldGrand-Daughters drive it most anytime she wanted . Well, don't know how or where Ms. Wild Thing did it but it looked like she slammed one top-side of the cart , maybe a tree limb, into the roof strut and broke it. I patched that with a piece of angle iron and guess what ? - A month or so later I looked at the cart and the other side was broken ! She was so wild driving that thing around our small town here that the city police would show up in front of the house and talk to her mother (lives next door) and my wife about how she'd been driving around town . LOL . Was not really funny . Anyway, I patched that and it looked bad. The new strut is black which matches the new rear one that came with the rear seat kit. I plan on painting some of the other aluminum trim black to match as well. Lord willing, I plan on fixing it up and it will be something of a Cruiser . Won't need more speed so that will save a bundle. She insists she likes the paint so no body painting, yet. I want to put a set of 12" wheels with low profile tires on it. Should really look cool especially after the way it looked two months ago. Been taking pics so down the road I plan to post what I'll call a "Refurbished Cart Thread" with may-be too many pics.
John

Sorry - Did not intend this to be such a long answer !

Got to go out and get your pics while wife out on errands . See what you think .
The last pic is what I'm trying to cover up although it does not appear that the cap alone will will do that . But , I DO HAVE A BACK-UP PLAN ! And if that does not work out I'm know I'll think of something . May end up learning to do fibreglass and end up painting the body afterall ! Who knows but it's fun, fun, fun GETTING WILD !

I'm wondering about this setup too. It seems impossible to look at any pics of this front end actually installed... Anyone else ever find a pic? Does the one you've purchased have hi/low headlights? I have a 1982 club car it says it fits... but you never know until you start cuttin

Me too. Especially since Club Car had two different stock front cowl designs, and the design change centers around the leading edge of the cowl. It looks like the light kit discussed in this thread is made for the newer style cowl. You can see the difference here in this pic I made. Note the area below the nameplate. On my cart (main image) you can see that the top edge of body line continues uninterrupted across the front of the cowl. On the newer design, that body line takes a dip underneath the nameplate. It also looks to me like the area below that top body line (where the headlight would fit) is slightly taller than the area below that same body line on my cart. Has anyone ever noticed this?

It looks like Meat Man has the older style front cowl like mine so I'm interested to see how well his light kit fits.

. . . I believe that the older bodies were fiberglass and newer ones are plastic/nylon (whatever) also . . .
