2 or 3 Wire Throttle
How can I determine if I have a 2 or 3 wire throttle on my 1991 36V cart? Is the throttle the big thing under the drivers seat that sweeps in a 1/4 circle? Or is that the speed switch? Trying to determine if my cart is 0-5k or 5-0K.

If you have a club car you have a 5k-0 ohm pot. That is called a V-Glide.

If I remember correctly the 36v controllers are reverse from the 48v controllers.. which would make it 0-5k...

Use a ohm meter. Check ohms at no throttle, you will 0 or 5K, Then test full throttle and you would have close to 5k or 0.
No ohms no throttle = 0-5k 5k ohms no throttle = 5K-0 |

Thanks, I was able to locate my throttle. It was a two wire 0-5K pot. Keep getting weird readings till I figured out that I need to disconnect the pot totally.
