Hydraulic drum brakes
Hi folks, I have been doing some research both on here and the www but can't seem to find an answer as yet. I plan to run a four wheel hydraulic drum system on my CC but I need to know if there were any significant changes to the hydraulic drums as fitted to the 74 - 80 electric CC's as opposed to the cable actuated units on the gas carts of the time and later. Obviously they will differ with the components required for either system but are the shoes, springs, backing plates, mounting points etc vastly different or can I convert my mechanical brakes to hydraulic with the correct hardware ?
Bit of a long shot but I bet someone has travelled this path before.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Hydraulic drum brakes
You didn't tell forum what year CC you have?
Correction ONLY CC CARRYALLS ( AND OLD CAROCHE MODELS ) had hydraulic brake in either 2 or 4 wheel set ups that I am aware of and they use different parts? Its possible but very hard to find parts?
Contact "JAKES" for hydraulic conversions.
