2006 Precedent; brake pedal adjustment

New to forum; absolutely love it. It helped me through a complete conversion of a stock 2006 precedent to a lifted, rear seat, lighted buggie.

I just finished the final camber and toe-in adjustments and now I'm trying to set the brake pedal. What is the proper setting for "play" or "softness" in the pedal? I have adjusted it both harder and softer, both of which work just fine, just want to know if there is a specific or proper setting or if it's just what feels right to the user. Thanks in advance.
